As you are aware, the Environmental Impact Assessment procedure, and in particular the public consultations part of this procedure are one of the aspects which the Commission takes into consideration in the assessment of all ISPA project applications. I have noted your concerns and the important information you have sent us, and I would like to re-assure you that when assessing this project application we will take these into consideration.

I would like to thank you for your interest in the application of environmental policy in Bulgaria and to reassure you that the Commission will do its utmost to ensure that all EU-sponsored investments will respect Community environmental law.
